Fathers and daughters

ME: I need an appointment with the eye doctor. I cannot see well at night.
MY FATHER: What nonsense? At such an early age?
ME: Dad! Am touching 40.
MY FATHER: Oh! Yes, you are!

A FRIEND WE MET AFTER MANY YEARS: How old are your kids?
MY HUSBAND: My daughter is nine
ME (nudge…..nudge): She is thirteen.
MY HUSBAND: Oh! Yes, she is!

Daughters never grow up,do they?

As hairs go grey and the crowning
glory becomes sparse what we have
Three A s in a row !!-
Absent-mindedness,
Amnesia and eventually
Alzheimers.

Girls grow but refuse to recognise it
Thus the lotions and potions industry.
If girls' Fathers falter once or twice
and that too in their favour surely the
girls ought to be full of glee and glow .

So sweet! Here's one from me:

ME: When you grow up I will be an old lady. So you'll cook for me won't you?
DAUGHTER: No mamma! You cannot become an old lady. You must be like this only.

We don't want our mommies to grow old EVER!
